SMS Text Messaging Terms

These SMS Terms govern text messages sent by Axle Lane LLC. By checking the SMS consent box on any Axle Lane form and submitting it, or by replying with an opt-in keyword to a text
from an Axle Lane number, you agree to these Terms.

1. Program Description

Program name: Axle Lane Shipment Communications.
Axle Lane sends transactional and account-related text messages to customers, prospective customers, and motor carriers who have expressly opted in. Messages include:

  • Quote confirmations and requests for additional shipment information.
  • Carrier assignment and dispatch details.
  • Pickup and delivery updates.
  • Account or invoice notifications.

Messages will originate from a number registered to Axle Lane under the mobile carrier 10DLC program.

This is not a marketing program. Axle Lane does not send unsolicited promotional or advertising texts. All texts relate to a shipment quote, an active shipment, an account, or a carrier assignment.

2. How You Give Consent

You give consent to receive text messages from Axle Lane only when you take an affirmative action:

  • Check the SMS consent box on an Axle Lane form on axlelane.com and submit that form.
  • Or reply with an opt-in keyword such as START or YES to a text from an Axle Lane number.

The consent language on our forms reads:

I agree to receive SMS text messages from Axle Lane LLC about my shipment quote and transportation request. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

Your consent is:

  • Specific to Axle Lane LLC. We do not share, sell, or transfer your SMS consent or mobile phone number to any third party, affiliate, or partner for text-messaging purposes. This complies with the FCC one-to-one consent rule under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
  • Not a condition of service. You are not required to consent to texts to receive a quote, book a shipment, or use any Axle Lane service. Submit the form with the SMS box  nchecked  to use email or phone instead.
  • Revocable at any time (see Section 6).

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity. Typical volume is 2–10 messages per active shipment or quote. You will not receive messages when you have no active quote,  hipment, or account activity.

4. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply. Axle Lane does not charge you for the messages. Rates depend on your mobile carrier and plan.

5. Supported Carriers

The program is supported by all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their subsidiaries and MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS delivery is best-effort and not guaranteed.

6. How to Cancel

Reply STOP to any Axle Lane message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one final confirmation. After that, we will not send additional messages unless you opt back in.

Other accepted opt-out keywords: END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT.

Opting out of SMS does not opt you out of email or phone communication. To stop all communication, email contact@axlelane.com.

If you change your mobile number, notify us so we do not send messages to a number you no longer own.

We use your mobile number only to send messages you consented to and to conduct our brokerage relationship with you. Your mobile number and SMS consent are not shared, sold, or transferred to any third party for text-messaging or marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to consent to this program.

10. Prohibited Uses

You will not use this program to send unlawful, harassing, obscene, defamatory, or fraudulent content. Axle Lane may suspend or terminate communication with any recipient who does so.

11. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at axlelane.com/sms-terms/ with an updated effective date. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
